Education is not only a fundamental right, it is one of the most powerful tools for breaking the cycle of poverty. At Pak Aid Welfare Trust, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a brighter future, regardless of their gender or where they live.
However, the reality in Pakistan remains challenging:
- More than 20 million children are currently out of school, one of the highest numbers in the world
- Nearly 44% of girls in rural communities never have the chance to attend school
- Many schools still struggle with inadequate infrastructure, a shortage of trained teachers, and unsafe learning environments
Behind these statistics are millions of children whose potential remains unrealized, perpetuating cycles of poverty across generations.
OUR IMPACT
These key figures highlight our commitment to advancing education across Pakistan. Each number reflects the lives of students, educators, and communities empowered through improved access to learning and opportunity.
